Moscow Region, August 2020

As part of the Army 2020 International Military-Technical Forum, IRBIS presented its developments in the field of high-mobility vehicles, which had successfully passed tests in real operating conditions.

Prior to this key event, an IRBIS project buggy was demonstrated at the Alabino training ground on April 22, 2020, in front of the Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation. S.K. Shoigu. Following the demonstration, a decision was made for the vehicles to participate in the Kavkaz 2020 strategic command and staff exercises in September 2020.

During the Kavkaz 2020 exercises, IRBIS vehicles successfully completed all assigned tasks, confirming their high operational performance under intensive combat training conditions. The vehicles received excellent evaluations both from senior political and military leadership and from officers of the Airborne Forces units.

At present, the preliminary stage of the investment project for the development and testing of these vehicles has been fully completed. Participation in the Army 2020 Forum became an important milestone in promoting domestic developments for the needs of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and opened up prospects for further cooperation with the Ministry of Defence.
