December Off-Road Challenges: Customer Test Drives and Field Trials

Moscow Region, Shchyolkovo District, Yeremino village

In December, our team held two exciting events at the AMK Extreme off-road park in Fryanovo, where true off-road enthusiasts were able to test the limits of both the vehicles and their own driving skills. The customer test drive gave participants the opportunity to get behind the wheel of the IRBIS 320 buggy and take on a series of real challenges, demonstrating the model’s excellent off-road capability in winter conditions. The field trials, in turn, became a true stress test for the vehicle. We tackled a variety of routes, including deep mud with ruts and puddles, where precise throttle and steering control was required to avoid wheel slip. At the quarry, we conquered steep D2 and D3-level climbs and descents, where the IRBIS 320 buggy demonstrated excellent stability and power, handling slopes that could have stopped less prepared vehicles. Frozen swamps and ploughed fields added even more adrenaline. Here, the vehicle confidently crossed icy sections, minimizing the risk of skidding thanks to its well-designed suspension and tires. There were also both artificial and natural obstacles: logs and fallen trees were overcome, and in critical moments we practiced using the electric winch, which proved its reliability when pulling the vehicle out of difficult situations.

These events not only confirmed the capabilities of the IRBIS 320 as a versatile off-roader for extreme conditions, but also became an excellent platform for sharing experience among off-road enthusiasts, once again proving that true off-road capability is born in mud and snow.

We would like to express special thanks to the owner of AMK Extreme park, Dmitry Basov, also known as Dim Dimych, and the entire Extreme Stars team — true professionals of the off-road community with extensive experience in organizing trophy raids, expeditions, and extreme off-road events. Their deep knowledge of the routes, valuable advice on passing difficult sections, and assistance in preparing the tracks made these events truly productive and safe. Thank you, guys, for your hospitality and contribution to the development of off-road culture!

Special mention should also be made of the participation of Stefan Konan, CEO of Competences Group, former minister of Côte d’Ivoire, and a great off-road enthusiast. Stefan has been familiar with IRBIS buggies since our participation in the Africa Summit, where he attended a session on African security. His positive feedback on the IRBIS 320 buggy became a true confirmation of our reputation at the international level.
